Welcome to our home in the pines.
Our funny little house WAS on the side of a small hill & the soil is almost pure sand, so we called it
SandHill Cottage
On September 4, 2011, the largest wildfire in Texas history swept through our area of the
Lost Pines, destroying our home and nearly 1600 others.
I was able to save our seven dogs and we later found out that our two miniature horses and one cat
survived. The fate of three other cats is still unknown.
When I have the time, I'll update this web site. For now, it stands as memorial to what once was.
